Frida and Ingrid arrived last night on time and in good spirits. Frida woke first this morning at 7 to see a flock of about 20 Crimson Rosellas on the lawn outside the kitchen, a colourful welcome.
Apparently most of the birds in Norway have very little colour so it was quite a surprise. Also, as we drove up our dirt road last night a large Wombat wandered out in front of the car to welcome her as well. Frida slept well and has headed off into the metropolis of Warragul with Anne and the girls to have a look around.
We were talking last night how quickly Frida’s arrival has come around. If the last 6 months are anything to go by then we best hang on tight.
