Central Australia Tour

In the last September school holidays 42 WEP students from various countries took part in the annual WEP tour to Central Australia. This year's tour lasted fourteen days and fifteen nights and went from Brisbane to Central Australia and then north to Darwin. On the itinerary were such sights as Uluru, Katherine Gorge and the World Heritage listed Kakadu National Park. Students got a real taste for the Australian Outback, sleeping in tents and passing through rural areas including Mount Isa and Tennant Creek.

Cordelia Prowd went to France in August 2008 for a semester and couldn't be happier:

'Every day, the language gets easier and i am loving my new life in
France. There is so much to learn and enjoy here and I am so glad I
decided to go in this adventure! My family continue to be fantastic
here and I couldn't be happier!'

Eden Butt recently celebrated St. Nicholas day in Belgium. She wrote this short article (in French) to present to WEP. Here is the English translation:

"I want to say thank-you to WEP for everything. My time as an exchange student was great!

WEP staff are always delighted to hear what past students are up to. Are you studying, working, or perhaps even off overseas again?

If you are a returned student and would like to organise a returnee function, contribute to this website or assist with the content of a returnee magazine, we would love to hear from you! WEP staff would be happy to assist in the organisation and promotion of such activities.
