Cowichan school district is strategically located halway between Nanaimo and Victoria, the capital of British Columbia. International students are welcomed in the four secondary schools of the Cowichan district, located in four different communities: Chemainus, Duncan, Lake Cowichan and Mill Bay.
Team spirit and the personal development of each student are the core values of these schools, as are physical education and awareness of a healthy lifestyle in contact with nature. Numerous arts and sports options are available, and Cowichan district is particularly renowned for ice hockey - which is undeniably Canada's favourite sport.
